Dr. Liskowitz provides technical design criteria and data analysis on projects involving Feroxsm and chemical oxidation projects. Using his background in kinetics of chemical reactions, he supervises and evaluates treatability test data and post field data kinetic rates in the field.
As a former leading expert and pioneer in the field of hazardous waste management, Dr. Liskowitz's expertise transcends many fields of study. A few of these fields include kinetics of chemical reactions, thermal behavior of natural products, monitoring and control of pollutants in air and water, development of engineering methods for the removal of raw materials and the development of hazardous waste management and technology transfer programs.
As distinguished professor emeritus at NJIT in the civil engineering department and founder of the National Science Foundation's Northeast Hazardous Waste Research Center, Dr. Liskowitz and his team were responsible for developing many of the methods, policy and procedures used in the industry today. Dr. Liskowitz was appointed a member of the USEPA National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology (NACEPT) under the Reagan Administration. While publishing and presenting more than 75 papers, he served on the editorial board of two respected publications; Journal of Materials and The Hazardous Waste Material Journal.
